Role
Sales Executive – join our sales team, focusing on understanding customer needs, communicating product features, and interpreting technical requirements. Comprehensive training will be provided, but a solid technical understanding is essential.
Responsibilities
* Travel throughout the UK to visit potential clients and identify new business opportunities.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
* Effectively manage and interpret customer requirements.
* Administer and manage customer accounts.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer contact data.
* Prepare comprehensive reports for sales meetings.
* Consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
* Prepare customer quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales.
* Coordinate sales projects efficiently.
* Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
* Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product training.
* Develop collaboration with selected business partners for mutual development of business.
* Conduct pricing analysis on the customer base, creating strategies for maximizing returns whilst ensuring customers remain loyal and fairly treated.
* Design and manage sales activities and initiatives related to key accounts across the region with significant impact on overall results and objectives.
* Understand and keep up to date with market trends and customer requirements, translating them into solutions to meet customer needs.
* Monitor financial and payment performance of key accounts, including accurate invoicing.
* Support marketing efforts by attending trade shows and other promotional events.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree (Business, Engineering, or related field preferred).
* Proven sales experience, ideally in raw materials (sheets), carpentry, or construction projects.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
* Positive, proactive mindset with the ability to perform under pressure.
* Valid UK driving licence.
* Full availability to travel across the UK.
