Are you passionate about cooking and creating a welcoming dining experience? Trust Housing has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our friendly team in East Kilbride on a permanent part-time basis.
You'll play a key role in preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals for our customers and occasional guests, while helping to create a warm and inclusive dining environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Planning, preparing, and cooking varied menus, including for special dietary needs
* Ensuring meals are served on time and meet food safety standards (including hot holding)
* Following our Food Safety Management System and completing HACCP documentation
* Supporting budget management through stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
* Promoting the meals service and engaging with customers to gather feedback
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment
* Participating in team meetings and supporting a positive team culture
