Cook required to join a small, dedicated team within a supported living environment in Bridgwater This is a part-time opportunity preparing fresh, balanced meals for approximately 16 vulnerable individuals.
Key Responsibilities for a cook:
1. Preparing and cooking nutritious meals in line with dietary needs
2. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
3. Working independently in a small kitchen setting
4. Supporting the wellbeing of residents through quality, home-style cooking
Requirements:
5. NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent)
6. Basic DBS (essential)
7. Experience in a similar role, ideally within care, residential or support environments
8. A caring, professional and patient approach
