We are looking for a Data Architect to join an Enterprise Architecture team focused on shaping and evolving data architecture, models, processes, and standards to enable effective data usage and deliver business value.
This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, data governance, compliance, security, and external partners to understand requirements and design solutions that support strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop data architecture roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
* Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support enterprise data usage.
* Establish data standards, policies, processes, and structures for modeling and design.
* Simplify existing data architecture, delivering reusable services and cost efficiencies.
* Evaluate and recommend technologies for data collection, analysis, and integration.
* Support initiatives to improve business performance through enterprise information solutions such as master data management (MDM), metadata management, analytics, and data integration.
* Collaborate with internal technical teams, external partners, and stakeholders to define requirements, create architectural designs, and oversee implementation.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience as a Data Architect.
* Hands-on experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure Databricks, Fabric, and Purview.
* Strong communication skills to explain complex data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Understanding of data management principles and challenges.
* Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or similar.
Location: Full-time, permanent role with hybrid working options.
