And as part of our rapid expansion, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our in-house development team.
This is the perfect opportunity to lead technical initiatives, manage a team of your fellow developers, and help shape our backend architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and architect scalable backend systems and APIs
* Establish and improve coding standards and best practice
* Optimise database performance and design efficient data models
* Implement advanced catching strategies and data persistence solutions
* Develop and lead testing procedures
* Conduct thorough code reviews and provide feedback
* Address any technical debit, security vulnerabilities or bottlenecks
* Contribute to sprint planning and roadmap discussions
Skills & Qualifications:
* 5+ years of professional backend development experience
* Expert-level proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
* Strong knowledge and experience with PostgreSQL, Sequelize, Jest, Docker, PM2 and Redis patterns.
* Proven track record of designing and building RESTful APIs
* Server management experience (OVH is desirable)
* Proficiency with Linux server administration
* Key leadership and communication skills
