Key skills required for the Senior Frontend Developer
* At least 4+ years' experience in Front End or full-stack web development with a Front End focus
* Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript and Tailwind, and ideally GraphQL in medium to large-scale codebases
* Solid understanding of Next.js and modern Front End architectures, and Front End standards and best practices
* A user-experience-focused mindset with attention to performance and usability
* Experience in developing web apps for iOS OR Android would also be an advantage
* Experience building data-driven interfaces that integrate multiple information sources
* Comfortable collaborating within cross-functional teams alongside UX/UI designers, product managers and QA engineers
* Experience with design systems and hybrid applications (beneficial)
* Degree in Informatics or a related discipline (beneficial)
What you'll do as a Senior Frontend Developer
* Build engaging, high-performance Front End web apps, and experiences from concept through to production
* Contribute to the development and evolution of modern web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Sanity, Sentry, Vercel and GCP
* Maintain and enhance existing web applications within a growing digital ecosystem
* Optimise Front End performance and improve observability across applications
* Influence Front End standards, tooling decisions and architectural discussions
* Champion strong engineering culture through clean code, automated testing, documentation and peer code reviews
* Share knowledge and discoveries within the wider engineering community
