About the Company
I am working with a progressive, values-led performance marketing agency with a team of around 40 people. Our culture is collaborative, ambitious, and people-first. We work hard to deliver exceptional results — and we support each other while we do it.
We’re now looking for someone to take ownership of our people experience — and we’re specifically looking for someone with hands-on experience within a marketing, creative, or digital agency. You’ll need to understand the pace, complexity, and people dynamics of agency life to thrive in this role.
This is a role for someone who’s not just people-first — but also a brilliant operator and organiser. You’ll bring clarity, calm, and momentum to the way we recruit, support, and grow our team.
About the Role
This is a part-time position (20–24 hours/week), ideally spread across 4 days (flexible across 3–5). You’ll lead our recruitment process, particularly for delivery roles (SEO, Paid Media, UX, Client Services), coach managers, and be a consistent, trusted presence for our team.
You’ll also lead everything that shapes the employee experience — from onboarding and engagement to appraisals and culture — building a scalable people function that’s light on process, high on impact, and deeply aligned to our values.
We’re looking for someone who’s confident working with autonomy, and who can lead and drive the people function proactively — spotting what’s needed, taking initiative, and following through.

Strategic Leadership Responsibilities
As Head of People & Culture, you’ll lead two key strategic pillars that underpin our agency’s success:

These pillars are central to our culture, performance, and long-term growth. You’ll be trusted to shape and report on them in partnership with the CEO and Management Team.
What We're Looking For
* 4–5+ years in a People Manager, People Partner, or HR Generalist role
* Essential: Experience in a marketing, creative, or digital agency
* A brilliant operator and organiser with strong attention to detail
* Proven track record leading recruitment and building high-trust team culture
* Skilled in supporting early-career and experienced professionals alike
* Strong coaching and feedback instincts
* Emotionally intelligent, calm, organised, and values-driven
* Comfortable with autonomy and working directly with founders and leaders
* Able to translate insight into action without waiting for instruction
