This role presents a brilliant opportunity to build a rewarding career in a fast-growingcompany.The CompanyThe VHR group is a multi-award winning technical recruitment business, headquartered in London, supplying contract and permanent technical and professional staff to our clients within the Aerospace & Aviation, F1 & Automotive, Civils & Infrastructure, and Marine sectors.VHR currently employs 65 members of staff across its 8 offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Abu Dhabi, Bologna, Prague, Leipzig and Nicosia and generates a turnover of over £40M annually.The Company’s medium-term aims are to grow to 90+ staff and £85M annual turnover.The Recruitment and HR Manager will:Internal Recruitment Collate and manage all authorised internal vacanciesCollaborate with VHR internal hiring managers to write or update job descriptions and advertsfor internal vacanciesAdvertise internal job opportunities on all available channelsSource candidates through online channels, networking, referrals and other innovativemethodsScreen CVs and applications and update candidates throughout the hiring processesSchedule interviews with candidates and internal stakeholders as required and provideinterview feedback to candidates and internal stakeholders.Organise, conduct and analyse psychometric and attributes testing of candidatesEvaluate candidates based on their interview and test performanceReport to the VHR stakeholders on the status of candidatesPresent offers to, and secure offer acceptance from, successful candidatesAnswer candidates’ queries at all stages of the hiring processEnsure all onboarding checks, including full referencing, is completed for each new internalhireHRConduct induction programmes for all new VHR internal hiresDrive the development of staff Personal Development Plans in partnership with the relevantline manager.Organising and scheduling of all Probation Reviews, Appraisals and Development ReviewsHelp identify and then organise employee training and development programmesOrganise VHR social events and performance awardsDevelop and implement staff retention initiativesMaintain staff HR files and update as requiredConducting Return to Work & Exit InterviewsManage the VHR disciplinary and grievance proceduresKeep abreast of changes in employment legislation and ensure VHR is compliantPolicy writing and implementationOverseeing matters of employee safety, welfare, wellness and healthCurrently, we anticipate internal recruitment duties to take up 65-70% of the total workload.The IndividualDeep knowledge of resourcing methods and platformsExperience of cold calling / headhunting candidates and candidate managementProven experience in placing candidates who fit company culturesDemonstrable knowledge of competency-based screening/interviewing.Strong influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to take ownership of the offer process.Self-starter, flexible and adaptable to constant change with the ability to work in a fast-paced,results driven, high-demand environmentGoal orientated with strong organisational and project management skillsInterest in all aspects of Human Resources and HR best practiceCompensation & BenefitsAn attractive salary & bonus schemeCareer development and financial support for professional development qualificationsPrivate health careMonthly company social eventsStaff trips abroadBlack tie Christmas party
