Vacancy - Quality Manager
Hours of work: Monday-Friday, 6am-4pm
Salary up to £41, (Apply online only) D.O.E
Our ideal candidate will have working knowledge of Quality Management systems, with knowledge of ISO9001/IATF16949/AS9100, and experience of metal finishing processes
In your role as Quality Manager:
* Quality management on the shop floor
* Internal auditing
* Maintenance of QMS
* Provide support and guidance in relation to quality management and assurance for site.
* Ensuring continuous site quality conformity in relation to the products processes.
* Ensure site complies with the requirements of ISO9001/IATF16949/AS9100 Quality management systems, ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems, along with any customer specific requirements specified.
* Arranging and Management of external audit activity for customers.
* Managing the Quality Department – Maintaining HR files, new starter inductions & including training. Supervising Quality inspectors
* Arranging and controlling internal & external equipment, calibration.
* Maintenance of controlled documentation, including FMEA, Control Plans, SOP's & care points
* Managing APQP activities, including producing PPAP's when required.
To be considered for the role of Quality Manager:
* Experience in a similar management role
* Experience of metal finishing processes
* Familiarisation of Core tool: FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA and SPC
* Able to work under pressure and use initiative to get tasks completed.
* Ability to communicate well
* Ability to execute internal audit activity
* Current driving Licence holder.
* IATF16949/AS9100 Lead Auditor Qualifications
