Site Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the execution of our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety legislation, project procedures, and quality goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, risk assessment, and team leadership. They will possess excellent communication skills, be able to liaise effectively with stakeholders, and have experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
* To ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and project procedures.
* To develop and implement effective project plans and schedules.
* To manage and monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary.
* To communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and colleagues.
* To maintain accurate records and reports, including project documentation and site diaries.
Requirements:
* HND (or equivalent) in engineering, project, or construction management.
* Membership of a recognized construction-related professional body.
* Risk Assessor Training and Health & Safety Management of Sub-contractors Training.
* A1 Assessor qualification.
* Ability to work collaboratively and integrate into multi-disciplinary teams.
* Site construction experience and knowledge of risk assessment and management principles.
