We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Vehicle Sales professional to join our expanding Volkswagen Van Centre sales team selling our range of new and used vehicles. Ideal applicants will come from a retail sales background, and must have a stable career history. Full training will be given and you will be expected to attend courses to further your skills.
Position: Volkswagen Light Commercial Van Sales Executive
Location: Volkswagen Van Centre Cardiff
Contract Type; Permanent / Full-time
Salary: Basic Salary £20,000 pa. plus commission plus company vehicle and benefits. As you develop and gain more experience, you can look forward to earning between £40k and £45k with an uncapped earning potential.
The Opportunity
As a Sales Executive for the Van Centre Cardiff, selling new and used light commercial vehicles, you will assist in providing a high-quality service for our customers. Working as part of a team and reporting to the Sales Manager, this position is offered on a full-time basis Monday to Friday and every other Saturday with a day off in the week - an average of working 5 days a week.
Your duties will include:
As a Sales Executive you will be representing both Sinclair Group and Volkswagen Light Commercial brand. Working as part of the Sales Team, you will be responsible for the end to end customer experience. Day to day you will:
1. Respond to queries from new and existing customers relating to new and used vehicle sales
2. Guide customers through their purchase, providing outstanding customer service as the face of both Sinclair and the Volkswagen brand.
3. Meet individual sales targets by maximising upsell and cross-sell opportunities on finance and insurance products and optional extras
4. Assist in ensuring a steady flow of enquiries from multiple channels through prospecting and marketing
5. Maintain a specialist knowledge of manufacturer vehicles and options, participating in regular knowledge updates
6. Manage the vehicle handover process, ensuring compliance with processes
7. Adhere to Sinclair Group's and industry regulations relating to the sale of vehicles, finance and insurance.
More about you:
8. Previous, proven experience of working within a customer focusing sales environment
9. Warm and friendly personality portraying a professional image to all customers (both face to face and over the phone)
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Know and understand how important it is to use social media, video and chat platforms to engage with customers, and your not afraid to use them.
12. Must possess a full, clean driving licence - no drink driving convictions for insurance purposes
Hours of Work:
13. Monday to Friday with an alternate Saturday
14. 8.30am to 6pm weekdays
15. Saturdays 8.30am to 5pm
