Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee nightshift operations on motorway closures for drainage schemes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in highways projects and be confident managing on‑site safety, subcontractors, and coordination activities during fast paced night works.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all on‑site safety during nightshift operations
* Deliver daily briefings and site inductions
* Check and verify operative tickets and site access eligibility
* Coordinate closely with engineers and traffic management contractors
* Manage and supervise subcontractors throughout works
* Review and contribute to RAMS documentation
* Complete site diaries and progress reports
* Use online tools for reporting and site record management
Essential Qualifications & Skills
* CSCS
* SSSTS
* Highways Passport
Desirable Skills
* Experience on motorway/nightshift projects
* Strong communication and coordination abilities
* Familiarity with drainage schemes
Rate
Rate is dependent on experience.
