This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven leader in construction to take ownership of large-scale renewable development projects and play a key role in driving the company's ambitious growth. The Senior Site Manager will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard of quality. You will act as the central point of contact for contractors and operatives, while also mentoring and developing site management staff. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a strong focus on client service and Health & Safety. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily on-site construction activities Ensure full Health & Safety compliance, including site inductions and toolbox talks Coordinate contractors, work schedules and site resources Support installations directly when required Drive Health & Safety culture across all sites Act as the key point of accountability for project delivery and client satisfaction Mentor and train existing site management staff, building team capability Candidate Requirements: Minimum 10 years' experience in the construction industry At least 5 years in a site management position Solar experience (desirable) SMSTS qualification (desirable) Strong leadership, mentoring and training abilities Excellent organisational and communication skills IT literate with strong reporting capability Problem-solving mindset and ability to make quick, effective decisions Full clean UK driving licence, with flexibility to travel and stay away during projects Benefits: 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays Enhanced maternity and paternity packages Company events and team initiatives Travel and related costs fully reimbursed This is a senior-level opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation at the forefront of renewable energy.
