We are currently seeking to recruit a *Cook/Chef* with a passion and flair for providing residents with first class restaurant quality food using fresh seasonal produce to work closely with our Head Chef.

*ABOUT YOU:*
* You will have a kind and caring approach with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of residents.
* You will have sound knowledge of nutrition, allergens and dietary modification to meet the needs of residents.
* You will have experience in working with fresh seasonal food, preparing a palatable menu that addresses the preferences of the residents.
* You will be qualified to NVQ/ SVQ/ City & Guilds level with a current food hygiene level 3 certificate.
* You will have the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment within our home, confidently engaging with residents to create appetising menus
* You will be a natural leader with strong management skills with strong budget and P&L skills
* You will work well within the team, leading, guiding, supporting and teaching junior staff members and acting as a role model in maintaining high standards through adherence with best practice.
* You will have experience in motivating and leading the staff team.
* You will have the right to work within the UK.
