Learning Mentors & Sports Coaches – Southwark (SEND Schools)

Are you passionate about helping young people unlock their potential? Do you want to use your skills in mentoring or sports coaching to make a real impact on the lives of children with Autism (ASC), Social Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH), and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)?
We are looking for motivated, energetic and caring individuals to join specialist schools and alternative provisions across Southwark. This is the perfect opportunity for aspiring teachers, mentors, or coaches who want to gain hands-on experience in education and SEND support.
What you’ll do:
* Build strong, positive relationships with students who need extra support.
* Use sport, mentoring, and creative activities to engage and inspire.
* Support children with ASC, SEMH, and MLD to develop confidence, resilience, and independence.
* Work alongside teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams in specialist settings.
What we’re looking for:
* A background or interest in sports coaching, youth work, mentoring, or SEND support.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to inspire young people.
* A desire to learn and progress in education or youth support.
* Commitment to making a positive difference every day.
