This role sits within the Appian development team, collaborating with other workstream leads for integrations of upstream and downstream systems.
Responsibilities
* Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
* Stay informed of technology trends and contribute to technology communities to foster technical excellence.
* Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
* Implement effective unit testing to ensure proper design, readability, and reliability.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience in Appian or other BPM suites (e.g., Pega, JBPM).
* Hands-on experience building Appian objects using SAIL.
* Experience with SQL (creating tables, views, stored procedures).
* Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to innovate.
* Strong organizational and verbal communication skills.
* Experience in software development.
