Position: Quality Manager
Location: Dungannon
Reporting to: Operations Director
Hours of Work: 39.75 hours per week
What you will do
You will play a pivotal role within the Operations team responsible for ensuring that our products meet business and regulatory standards, implementing quality control systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will liaise with Internal and External customers to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction while achieving high quality standards in a lean environment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. To develop and implement the quality management strategy in line with business standards.
2. To develop and maintain systems to establish standards relating to activities and products.
3. To develop and maintain systems to measure performance against established standards.
4. To monitor performance according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate/advise/assist according to performance levels.
5. To establish and implement necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality issues across all departments.
6. To report as necessary on changes in standards (internally and externally initiated) and on performance against standards.
7. To be an integral part of creating the Total Quality Management (TQM) culture and having the ability to drive it forward.
8. To lead the Quality Councils on site.
9. To manage department performance against agreed targets through appraisal and review.
10. To liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary.
What you will bring
11. Extensive experience & knowledge of Quality Management Systems
12. Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent in engineering
13. Proven experience of working within manufacturing environment
14. Proven track record of people management
15. Able to demonstrate leadership in both strategic and quality management in a global manufacturing organization
16. Ability to govern progress to a detailed level and interpret system reports and Key Performance Indicators
17. Ability to work with suppliers to improve overall levels of quality
