Our clients include high-rise and low-rise apartment buildings, hotels, hospitals and care homes, where the fire safety and efficient waste management are essential.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced, pro-active & results driven senior sales executive to drive sales and develop new business opportunities across the UK.

The ideal candidate must have experience within sales, ideally in construction industry or safety related sales and must have strong knowledge of fire regulations.

The successful candidate will join a strong and expanding department to work with our existing team so must be a team player and demonstrate track record of effective sales performance.

Responsibilities

* Proactive Lead Generation:
* Identifying new customers and changes in marketplace including potential new trends and competition resulting in new sales.
* Customer relationship management:
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new customers, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and working with the operational delivery teams to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
* Sales strategy, growth and revenue generation:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for our fire safety products and chute system in the UK.
* Increasing sales performance by achieving and exceeding targets, increasing orders, and maximising revenue with cross-selling and up-selling opportunities for all the products and services within the group, with both new and existing customers.
* Customer visits and field sales:
* Conduct on-site visit to prospective and existing customers to assess their requirements, present tailored solutions, and secure business commitments.
* Proposal and quotation management:
* Prepare and deliver accurate and detailed quotations, assuring alignment with customer expectations and the company's pricing structure.
* Sales reporting and forecasting:
* Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions, providing regular reports and forecasts to senior management.
* Attendance at industry events:
* Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and networking opportunities to generate leads and promote company services, as well as enhance the company's market presence.
* Collaboration:
* Work closely with internal teams including marketing, product management and installation to deliver cohesive customer experience
* Product Knowledge &Technical Expertise
* Stay up to date with fire safety standards, building regulations and industry best practice as they pertain to our products and services.
* Effectively communicate product benefits and technical specifications to clients, helping them understand the value of upgrading to compliant, high-quality solutions.
* Coaching and developing junior members of the team

Skills and Experience Requirements

* Full clean driving licence
* Sales experience
* Proven track record of B2B sales ideally in construction, safety or facilities management.
* Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and compliance with experience selling safety-critical products or systems.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills at all organisational levels.
* Familiarity with CRM software
* Effective Time Management
* Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
* Commercial Business Awareness and Market knowledge
* Experience in customer support and account management
* Experience in Digital marketing/ social media exposure would be ideal but is not a deal breaker.
* A willingness to travel to visit customers for face-to-face appointments
