We seek a knowledgeable and proactive Employment Lawyer to join our legal team.
In this role, you will provide expert legal guidance on all aspects of employment law, ensuring our organization remains compliant with all relevant regulations and fostering a positive workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting the business in best practices for employee relations and handling complex employment terminations across different jurisdictions;
* Reviewing and drafting employment contracts, policies, and employee handbooks;
* Providing legal counsel on workplace issues such as discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination;
* Conducting internal investigations of employment-related legal complaints;
* Ensuring compliance with all labor laws and regulations, including personal data protection (GDPR and others);
* Identifying and managing external/internal compliance risks; supporting audits; conducting due diligence;
* Performing other duties reasonably aligned with the role's purpose.
Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in law from an acknowledged European university;
* Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an international company within employment law;
* Strong understanding of European employment regulations, including GDPR;
* Proficiency in legal research, document interpretation, negotiation, and conflict resolution;
* Excellent knowledge of business, contract employment, social security law, and data protection regulations;
* Ability to work independently and accept personal responsibility for tasks;
* Advanced command of legal English (reading, writing, speaking).
