The Exciting Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for an HR Administrator, working on a part-time basis (25 hours per week). You will be joining our dedicated HR team to support the delivery of our People Strategy and provide a professional HR service. The role will involve providing administrative support across a range of HR processes, as well as being responsible for monitoring and dealing with enquiries received to the HR email inbox.
You will be working as part of a supportive and friendly team, with an outstanding record of supporting individual development and progression. So, whether you are an experienced administrator looking for a new challenge or looking to begin a career in HR, this could be the ideal role.
The role is 25 hours per week and whilst it is preferred that the hours are worked across five days, there is scope for flexibility regarding this. If you have commitments outside of work, this role could provide you the opportunity to balance your home and work life.
The successful candidate will be primarily based at Accrington and Rossendale College but may be required to travel across sites.
What You Will Be Doing:
• Monitoring enquiries to the HR email inbox and responding in a timely manner
• Ensuring details of staff absence are recorded and updated accurately
• Updating the HR system (CHRIS21) and individual e-files with relevant information and documentation (e.g. relating to requirements for mileage claims, training records etc.)
• Support the wider HR team with ad hoc generalist HR administration
What We Are Looking For:
• Four GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
• Level 3 qualification in administration or other relevant subject
• Experience of working in a varied administrative role, in a busy office environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
