We are a 'fresh food' organisation encouraging children and young people to choose nutritious meals. We are currently recruiting a Cook to join our team at Danby School, catering for around 30-40 meals per day. As a Cook, your role will deliver an effective catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety. Your role will require you to prepare and cook lunch for students and staff, washing up as well as other kitchen management duties, ordering food, stock taking and administration. As a valued member of our hardworking team, you will be reliable, dependable and committed to providing healthy wholesome dishes, typically working from 09:30 to 13:15 totalling to 18.75 hours per week with room for a little flexibility. No weekend work! You will work term time only; however, you will receive equal monthly payments throughout the year. For this you will be paid £13.05 per hour in addition to annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement. What can we offer you?
