Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA are seeking a HR Manager for the brand-new dual-site Hyatt Place Hotel and Hyatt House Apartments.
Scheduled to open in Summer 2024, the dual-site Hyatt Place Hotel and Hyatt House Apartments is ideally located in Sovereign Square at the heart of Leeds City Centre. Offering 312 keys in total, the site will be comprised of a 224-bedroom Hyatt Place Hotel, complete with 4 boardroom style meeting rooms and destination rooftop bar; and an 88 apartment Hyatt House extended stay concept with F&B offering.

A day in the life of…
* This role will see you form an essential part of the hotel’s leadership team, working as a figurehead for people and culture on site, you'll be tasked with ensuring there a first class employee experience, from onboarding to performance and capability through to offboarding.
* You will be accountable for the delivery of HR strategy and development of the team.
* You'll be the first line of contact for our colleagues, ensuring a robust recruitment and retention strategy is implemented within the business, with an eye on developing and retaining future talent.
* You will ensure all colleague training is up to date and a culture of team engagement is fostered throughout the business across all areas of the hotel.
* You’ll work closely with the established off-site HR Shared services team to deliver quick resolution to common and complex HR queries.
What do we need from you?
Previous experience within a HR management role is essential, you'll be up to date and engaged with changes in the greater HR sector and a champion of growing future talent and staff engagement.
