Job Description Brio Digital is partnered with a company in the financial services sector who are currently growing their mobile engineering function. We are looking for an iOS developer to support them as they build their mobile retail banking application. Overview; Role; iOS Developer Salary; £65,000-£80,000 Location; London (2x/week) iOS Developer Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to implement new features and enhance existing ones. Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance app functionality. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and optimization. Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development best practices, tools, and technologies. Contribute to all phases of the app development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and beyond. iOS Developer Experience: Professional experience in iOS development. Experience within Banking/Financial services or highly regulated environments. Proficiency in Swift and experience with Objective-C is a plus. Strong knowledge of iOS SDK and development tools such as Xcode. Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git. Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Nice-to-Haves: Experience with modern iOS architectures (e.g., MVVM, VIPER). Familiarity with automated testing frameworks for iOS (e.g., XCTest).
