Job Description
The Site Manager will:
3. Manage on-site construction activities to ensure projects are executed efficiently and safely.
4. Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
5. Monitor project progress, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
6. Conduct quality checks and ensure all mechanical, electrical, and civils works meet project specifications
7. Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
8. Conduct site inspections to assess work quality and meets CDM regulations.
9. Act as the first responder for emergency repairs and leaks.
10. Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to senior management.
11. Ensure site documentation, risk assessments, and method statements are properly managed
12. Resolve any on-site challenges that may arise during the construction process.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Site Manager should have:
13. Previous experience in managing sites in district heating, utilities, or construction.
14. Strong knowledge of construction processes and regulations.
15. Experience in civils, mechanical, and electrical works related to heat networks.
16. Proven ability to manage teams and lead projects effectively.
17. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
18. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
19. Good communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
20. CSCS Gold or Black Card.
21. NRSWA card.
22. SMSTS qualification.
23. First Aid.
