Our client is recruiting for a Site Manager to join a large, well-established secondary school in Sheffield. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in April 2026, overseeing the effective management of the school site and facilities. Site Manager required on a full-time basis Well-resourced secondary school Leadership role within the premises team Supportive senior leadership team The successful Site Manager will have overall responsibility for site safety, maintenance, and compliance, leading caretaking and cleaning teams while working closely with the School Business Manager and Headteacher. Key Responsibilities • Overall management of the school site, buildings, and grounds • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation • Managing premises staff and external contractors • Planning and overseeing maintenance schedules • Monitoring budgets and ordering supplies • Supporting school events, lettings, and examinations • Acting as a key holder and point of contact for site matters Experience and Qualifications • Proven experience in a site or facilities management role • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations • Leadership and team management skills • Organised, proactive, and solution-focused • Legal right to work in the UK School Information This Sheffield secondary school offers a calm, well-structured working environment with clear systems in place.
