We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Proactive Sales Executive to support the growth and development of our trade customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, identifying opportunities through data-driven insights, and implementing effective contact strategies to strengthen customer relationships and achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement tailored sales strategies that address the unique needs of smaller turnover customers, with a focus on maximizing the placement of pattern books in the marketplace. This is vital for engaging trade customers who may not have regular visits from our road sales team.
2. Contact customers to review performance, understand current projects, and promote existing and new collections through sampling and sales efforts.
3. Understand customer needs to maximize sales opportunities.
4. Secure future business through appropriate service and support.
5. Develop and deliver a customer contact strategy utilizing all contact tools.
6. Deliver world-class customer service to maximize sales opportunities.
7. Input customer feedback and actions into CRM.
8. Coordinate with the Customer Service Team to ensure order and sample request accuracy.
9. Follow up on calls and emails.
10. Analyze performance data to inform further calls and strategies.
11. Submit regular reports and monitor sales performance with management.
12. Complete all required administrative tasks.
13. Achieve personal sales targets as part of the team.
14. Employ effective sales techniques to promote, upsell, and cross-sell products, building stronger business relationships.

Skills & Experience:
* Proven sales experience, including call centers or mail order catalogues.
* Strong business acumen and industry knowledge.
* Experience with product demonstration and building long-term relationships.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, positive attitude.
* Proficiency in CRM and WG360.
* Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
