Are you looking to kick-start your HR career or build on your current experience but are not getting any luck in finding the right role? We have the opportunity that will solve your problem. We have an HR Administrator position at our customer site in Hatfield.
You will support with the day-to-day HR tasks across your site, based in Hatfield with minimal travel, you will support the site with general HR reporting and administration. You need to have the passion and initiative and be able to work on your own initiative. There will be some travel to our Aylesbury site.

We are looking to offer a salary of up to £30,500 per annum. Also, we offer 25 days of holiday (plus bank holidays) and the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
1. Produce regular HR reports for the site management team on new starters, leavers and workforce statistics
2. Accurately update the sites personnel records for absence, sickness and holiday entitlement
3. Ensure payroll are notified of any changes to colleagues’ terms and conditions and act on any instructions from colleagues and management promptly
4. Carry out admin tasks which include supporting with notes for employee relations meetings
5. Opportunity to get involved in the site T&A and payroll
6. Supporting with HR Inductions
7. Coordinating the new starter and right to work checks
8. To provide admin support in preparing standard letters / documents for AMP, disciplinaries and grievances
9. Support with HR file auditing
What you need to succeed at XPO:
10. An administration background would be ideal
11. Exposure to HR policy, practice and employee relations (ideal)
12. Understanding of HR policies and practices
13. A keen eye for detail- site reports are the backbone of our operation
14. Excellent communication and influencing skills
15. Strong presentation and training skills
16. Ability to investigate and solve problems quickly and effectively
17. Ability to work autonomously and effectively under high levels of pressure
