Java Quant Developer - Low Latency - Crypto
Excellent opportunity opens for a highly experienced Java Quant Developer with a low latency background to join a rapidly scaling market maker providing deep liquidity across global crypto exchanges and OTC venues. This role offers the possibility to work with latest technologies and products as well as a joining a dynamic & innovative trading technology team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop high-performance trading systems in Java, processing large volumes of real-time market data.
* Implement and optimize quant models provided by researchers, ensuring seamless integration into production.
* Design exchange connectivity solutions, enabling ultra-low latency access to global digital asset venues.
* Collaborate with traders & quants to translate strategy ideas into robust, scalable code.
* Monitor, debug, and improve trading performance with a focus on speed, stability, and risk controls.
Key Skills :
* Core Java expertise with 4+ years of experience, strong OOP/design pattern knowledge, and a track record of building efficient, scalable, and well-tested applications.
* End-to-end ownership of projects and features, from design to delivery, including production support for critical systems.
* Collaboration and communication skills, able to work across teams and at all levels while maintaining clear documentation and clean coding standards.
* Technical breadth: experience with databases (SQL/PostgreSQL), messaging/streaming systems (Kafka, Redis), and modern infrastructure (Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS).
* Added strengths: knowledge of event-driven Java (Netty, low-GC techniques), web protocols (HTTP/WebSocket/gRPC), Python scripting, and a strong interest in trading or crypto markets.
