Job Description:
This full-time role is within the food technology department, which currently includes one food teacher and three DT teachers. We are seeking a dedicated teacher to bring expertise and enthusiasm to the team. ECTs are encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Planning and delivering engaging lessons in food technology
2. Assessing student progress and providing feedback and support
3. Contributing to curriculum development
4. Collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective teaching and learning
5. Participating in extracurricular activities such as cooking clubs and school fairs
Candidate requirements:
1. A degree in food technology or related field
2. Qualified teacher status (QTS)
3. Experience teaching food technology at KS3-4
4. A passion for food and cooking, with the ability to inspire students
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Pay rate depends on experience and qualifications.

All pay rates are inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency in the future.
