Our client, a major contributor to a high-profile rail infrastructure programme shaping the future of UK transport, is seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Manager to lead and oversee quality assurance across all phases of delivery with a strong knowledge of buildings, civils and structures.
As the Quality Manager, you will be the central figure for all quality-related matters on site. Your duties will include:
Acting as the primary point of contact for quality across the project
Assisting the project team in preparing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
Reviewing ITPs submitted by subcontractors for compliance and completeness
Regularly reviewing and updating the Quality Management Plan (QMP)
Participating in progress meetings and reporting quality concerns to senior management
Collaborating with Construction Managers to ensure quality processes are implemented on site
Conducting inspections and audits to verify adherence to quality procedures and standards
Supporting teams in compiling and submitting quality documentation packages
Managing non-conformities and driving performance improvement actions to closure
Providing quality input into supplier pre-qualification assessments when required
Job Requirements:

Proven experience in quality management within large-scale infrastructure or rail projects
Strong understanding of construction quality systems, ITPs, and QMPs
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work independently and drive quality culture across the project
