Quality Manager - Special Projects Location: Tottenham Hale with hybrid working (2 days from home)Salary: £55,000 + up to 5% performance-related bonusContract: Permanent, Full-TimeBenefits: Outstanding pension, wellbeing benefits, professional development funding & more About My client a charitable housing association and a major provider of affordable homes across North and East London They are seeking a Construction Quality Manager to join our growing team and take a critical role in inspecting, monitoring, and improving the quality of remediation, cladding, fire safety and defect-related projects across their portfolio. The Role As Construction Quality Manager, you will be the technical eyes and ears on the ground, ensuring that all remediation, safety and construction works meet the highest quality standards. You will: Key Responsibilities Carry out regular inspections across multiple sites, documenting quality, progress, compliance and defects.Identify non-compliance with drawings, specifications, and building regulationsProduce detailed written reports with photographic evidence, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.Audit drawings and technical documentation at pre-construction, during works and at handover.Support fire safety compliance, leading on outstanding FRA items via Go Pad.Attend project meetings, resident meetings, design workshops and site inspections.Collaborate with Project Managers, Employers' Agents, contractors and stakeholders to resolve technical queries.Carry out and coordinate snagging, pre-handover, commissioning checks and quality assurance processes.Support defects management, proposing solutions and helping address resident concerns.Manage requisitions, verify completed works, and support invoice checking against agreed pricing.Ensure adherence to health and safety legislation About You Experience & Skills At least 12 months' experience as a Quality Manager, Site Inspector, Clerk of Works, Defects Surveyor or similar.Skilled in identifying defects, snagging, compliance issues and fire-safety-related concerns.Confident auditing drawings, specifications and technical documentation.Good understanding of construction processes, roles, regulations and H&S requirements.Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings.Practical knowledge of M&E installations.Strong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working across multiple sites IT proficiency Qualifications BTEC or SQA National Award (or higher) in a Construction/Building disciplineMembership of ICWCI, CIOB, RICS, IOSH (desirable) Additional Requirements Ability to inspect confined spaces and climb ladders.Clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.
