Site Manager : Tier 1 Contractor (Schools Project : Hucknall)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Manager to join our clients team on a new school project in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. Our client is a leading national contractor with a significant presence in the public sector, renowned for their commitment to excellence, innovation, and employee development.
The Role:
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day:to:day operational management of the school construction project in Hucknall. This will involve:
* Overseeing all site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
* Managing and motivating site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Maintaining strict health and safety standards and procedures.
* Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing effective solutions.
* Ensuring quality control and adherence to specifications and regulations.
* Liaising effectively with the client, design team, and other stakeholders.
* Producing regular progress reports and maintaining accurate site records.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 3+ years experience as a Site Manager, ideally with a Tier 1 contractor.
* Demonstrable experience delivering education or other public sector construction projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, regulations, and health and safety legislation.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to manage budgets, programmes, and resources effectively.
* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work certifications are essential.
* A proactive, problem:solving approach and a keen eye for detail.
The Package:
* Salary: GBP50,000 : GBP60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
* Car Allowance: GBP6,500
* Annual Leave: 25 Days + Bank Holidays
* Pension: Company Pension Scheme
* Bonus: Company Bonus Scheme
