Job Summary
To generate new business opportunities by means of telephone calls to targeted lists and walking shows to meet potential clients face to face.
To build, maintain and increase a contact base, so that a steady flow of potential client meetings / briefs will be received at a level of two a week within 2 months.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Be proactive in your sales approach and have an understanding of the sectors that you are working in by researching the clients, and co-ordinating with relevant Park Display staff so that you have the necessary structure and information to make an effective call
* Working with the sales team to identify potential clients and contacts to progress, through either telephone calls or meeting a shows
* To subsequently report on the show called or walked: leads generated, meetings planned, and follow up sales approach
* To cold call and canvass from agreed sales lists
* To keep the sales activities up-to-date through contact lists and your Outlook calendar
* To cross sell where appropriate, distribute sales leads and share information
* To ensure that effective communication channels remain open between yourself and the rest of the team
