Job Requirements
* Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
* Certifications Requirements:
o Food handlers license in Minnesota
o ServSafe certification (preferred)
o CPR/Bloodborne Pathogens certification (preferred)
* Experience Requirements:
o At least 1 year of experience as a cook in a long-term care or similar healthcare setting
o Experience preparing meals for residents with dietary restrictions
o Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
* Other Requirements:
o Ability to pass a background check
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills
o Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights

Job Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and health and safety standards.
* Pass meals out to residents in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring dietary restrictions are accommodated.
* Monitor food inventory levels and communicate supply needs for optimal kitchen operation.
* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, including equipment and utensils.
* Assist with menu planning and ensuring all meals meet nutritional guidelines for residents.
