Our client is seeking an EXPERIENCED FLOORING LABOURER to join them on a temporary to permanent basis.
We are looking for candidates with experience working as a Flooring Labourer. You need to be confident in the following:
1. Site Preparation: Removing existing flooring, scraping, cleaning, and repairing subfloors using sand, cement, or levelling compounds.
2. Installation Assistance: Cutting flooring materials (carpet, vinyl, wood, tiles) to size and assisting with installation using adhesives, staples, or tack strips.
3. Material Handling: Loading/unloading heavy materials, transporting tools, and ensuring the work area is tidy.
4. Finishing Tasks: Applying sealant, grout, stain, or polish and trimming excess materials.
5. Safety Compliance: Adhering to health and safety regulations on-site.
Please be aware if a permanent position is offered then self employment status will be required.
Requirements:
6. Physical fitness for lifting and repetitive tasks.
7. Ability to use hand and power tools
8. Strong work ethic and reliability.
9. Basic math skills for measurements.
10. Teamwork and communication skills.
11. Attention to detail.
Candidates must hold:
12. CV showing previous Flooring Labourer experience
13. Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance
