Role Overview
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven
Regional Sales Executive
to join our growing team. This role will focus on driving new business growth and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients across
Berkshire, Surrey, and Hampshire .
The successful candidate will have proven sales experience in the
waste management or recycling industry
(minimum 1 year) and a passion for achieving targets, building partnerships, and promoting sustainable waste solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities across the region to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring excellent service and retention.
Conduct site visits, needs assessments, and prepare tailored waste management proposals.
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals with commercial clients across sectors such as construction, manufacturing, hospitality, and facilities management.
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, and compliance) to ensure service excellence.
Maintain accurate records of sales activity using CRM systems and produce regular pipeline and performance reports.
Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and client meetings to enhance brand presence in the region.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of sales experience in the waste management or recycling industry
(essential).
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of commercial waste, recycling streams, and environmental compliance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently across multiple counties.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Based in or within easy reach of
Berkshire
with flexibility to travel across
Surrey and Hampshire .
Desirable Attributes
Experience selling to B2B clients within construction, manufacturing, or facilities management sectors.
Knowledge of waste legislation and sustainability practices.
Proficient in using CRM and Microsoft Office tools.
