We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Site Manager to join our growing minor works division, delivering high-quality construction projects up to £5 million in value. This role is ideal for a practical leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple small to mid-sized projects or one larger scheme at any one time. Experience in refurbishments, fit-outs, and small-scale new builds is essential. Key Responsibilities: * Take full ownership of site activities across multiple live projects or larger standalone contracts. * Plan and manage works efficiently to meet project deadlines and budget constraints. * Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, site operatives, and suppliers to ensure productivity and build quality. * Ensure robust health and safety practices are upheld at all times, conducting toolbox talks and risk assessments. * Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to maintain strong communication and build trusted relationships. * Interpret drawings and specifications, ensuring all works comply with design and regulatory standards. * Maintain site records, progress reports, and commercial awareness of variations or changes in scope. * Drive quality control throughout each phase, from enabling works through to final handover. * Provide leadership to site teams, promoting a professional and collaborative working environment. Requirements: * Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in site management, ideally with exposure to both refurbishment and new build projects. * Proven ability to manage multiple small-value projects or a single larger scheme independently. * SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold Card), and First Aid certifications. * Excellent organisational and people management skills. * Strong problem-solving ability and proactive mindset. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management tools (e.g., Procore, Field View, or similar). * Full UK driving licence. Preferred Experience: * Background working with local authorities, commercial clients, or public sector frameworks. * Experience in live environments (e.g., schools, hospitals, or office refurbishments). * NVQ Level 6 or equivalent in Site Management / Construction.
