About the Role
We’re looking for a talented and driven Data Engineerwith hands-on experience in Palantir technologiesto join our London-based team. This is a fully on-site role, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about building scalable data solutions using Palantir Foundry or Gotham.
You’ll play a key role in designing and implementing data pipelines, integrating complex data sources, and enabling powerful analytics and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain data pipelines and integration workflows within Palantir Foundry/Gotham
* Develop and manage data ontology, object models, and transformationsusing Palantir’s native tools (e.g., Code Workbook, Object Explorer, Contour)
* Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
* Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of data ingestion and transformation processes
* Implement data governance, lineage, and quality controls within the Palantir ecosystem
* Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Palantir platforms in cloud or on-prem environments
* Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues across the stack
* Document workflows, standards, and best practices for Palantir development
Required Skills & Experience
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering or software development
* Proven experience with Palantir Foundry or Gotham, including pipeline and object model development
* Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and optionally Java/Scala
* Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing
* Experience with cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization(Docker, Kubernetes)
* Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliancein enterprise environments
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Palantir certification or formal training in Foundry/Gotham
* Experience in regulated industries (e.g., defense, healthcare, finance)
* Knowledge of Spark, Airflow, or other orchestration tools
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelinesand DevOps practices
