Key Responsibilities Source and attract candidates using various platforms including CV databases, job boards, LinkedIn, and social media. Conduct screening calls, telephone and video interviews to assess candidate suitability. Arrange interviews Maintain regular contact with candidates, providing updates and managing expectations throughout the recruitment process. Build and manage candidate talent pools for current and future vacancies. Understand job specifications, qualifications, and experience required to fill each role. Support pre-employment checks and ensure full compliance with relevant legislation and company policies. Identify new business opportunities and job leads by scanning the market and acting as the eyes and ears of the business. Support sales activities by assisting in the placement process and hitting individual and team-based KPIs. Maintain and update internal systems and candidate portals. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure an efficient and professional recruitment experience. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in maritime recruitment, crewing, or seafarer placement. Understanding of marine qualifications and Merchant Navy ranks/certifications. Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner. Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and ability to assess candidate suitability quickly. Target-driven with a sales-orientated mindset. Able to build rapport quickly and gain the confidence of candidates and clients. Resilient, adaptable, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Technically proficient in using recruitment tools and platforms. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Qualifications Strong literacy and numeracy skills. Previous experience in maritime/crewing recruitment is essential.
