Sales Executive
We’re looking for a motivated and commercially minded Sales Executive to join our small but dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and converting conversations into results.
Job Details:
* Location: Telford
* Type: Permanent
* Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 + Commission
* Work Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Responsibilities
* Re‑engage lapsed customers to gather commercial insights and explore new quoting opportunities.
* Research and identify new market sectors, generate leads, and initiate conversations to uncover product needs.
* Follow up on inbound leads from the website and coordinate with head office for international orders.
* Manage sample requests and ensure timely dispatch via courier or post.
* Log all activity in the CRM system, setting follow‑up tasks, and maintain accurate communication records.
* Chase outstanding quotes for projects, installations, and recycling services.
* Support general office functions including order processing, stock checks, and customer updates.
* Provide cover during staff holidays or absences and assist with ad‑hoc admin tasks.
Qualifications
* Experience in a sales or telesales environment focused on lead generation or closing sales.
* A self‑starter who can manage their own time and workload with minimal supervision.
* Confidence and resilience on the phone, able to reach decision‑makers and keep conversations moving.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when quoting and reporting to management.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Previous experience using a CRM system is desirable.
* Familiarity with SAGE Line 50 is a bonus, but not essential.
* Ability to work independently in an office setting, focused and proactive.
