The HR Manager is responsible for leading and delivering the organisation’s HR strategy, ensuring effective HR operations across the full employee lifecycle. This role provides guidance to managers on employee relations, performance, and development while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies. The HR Manager drives initiatives that enhance culture, engagement, and organisational performance, acting as a trusted partner to leadership and a key contributor to organisational planning andchange.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management on all complex HR issues and coach, support, train and challenge managers in the application of HR policies and practices, taking into account current legislation and relevant codes of practice.
* Manage and maintain HR information systems and develop standard documentation for allemployees of MACS in relation to using the self-service HR Information System.
* Contribute to the development of the HR operational plan ensuring it is in line with the organisation’sstrategic aims.
* Promote good people management by ensuring employees are managed consistently and fairly.
* Assisting Managers through the recruitment process, including supporting the development ofJob Descriptions, Salary Benchmarking and Job evaluation roles.
* Facilitating training and development initiatives to ensure effective learning interventions forMACS.
* Provide direct line management to the Senior HR Officer and overall Management of the HR andAdmin Team.

Skills and Qualifications
* Third level qualification (or equivalent) in Human Resources or business related discipline, or a recognised professional Human Resources qualification at a minimum of level 5 AND 3 years’ generalist HR experience OR 5 years generalist HR experience.
* Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
* Demonstrable experience of providing advice, guidance training on HRpolicies and processes.
* Demonstrable experience in the management of complex disciplinary andgrievance cases which is compliant with current NI EmploymentLegislation and Codes of Practices.
* Proven experience of developing strong consultative relationships with keystakeholders on HR strategies
* Hold a full UK driving licence and be able to travel to meet the requirementsof the post without reliance on public transport including outside office hoursand at weekends
