Site manager - Commercial projects - Renewable Energies
Temporary 8 week contract - £300pd
This is an 8 week contractrole working with a leading solar PV installations & renewable energy contractor, who's primary focus is working on commercial properties. Based in Devon and Cornwall, they take on contracts all around the UK designing,supplying & maintaining outstanding renewable energy packages.
Our client is seeking an experienced site manager in Portsmouth, that would ideally come from an M&E, electrical or renewable energy background. You would support the existing team on a key NHS project.
Available benefits
* £300 per day
* Weekends at 1.5 (Time & a half)

Requirements (Please note: We do not necessarily need all of the below to apply)
* Site or Project management experience.
* Solar & renewable energyexperience (preferable but not essential)
* CSCS card
* SMSTS
* First aid
* Driving licence (Essential)
* A site or project management qualification: E.G- NVQ, Prince 2, bachelorsdegree etc. (Not essential but preferable)
* Ability to work within a team
* Professional at all times.
* Good work ethic.
* Good timekeeping.
* Must be versatile, willing to adapt to differenttasks, a team player.
Job Spec
* SiteManagement.
* Guide &manage solar PV projects to completion, ensuring project milestones are met.
* Develop and maintain project schedules.
* Manage deliveries.
* Site set up.
* Pre-construction health and safety requirements met with siteaccess and efficiency.
* Construction health and safety requirements met with siteaccess, signs, walk ways, yard set out for maximumefficiency.
* Welfare is compliant and maintained.
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project objectives are achieved and delivered safely.
* Provide oversight and guidance to subcontractors throughout the project when needed.
* RAMS
* Site inductions.
* Maintaining site diary.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, regulatory authorities and locals.
* Ensure transparent and timely communication with clients.
* Ensure project deliverables meet the required standards.
* Conductsite inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications.
