Retail Catering Manager Location: Isleworth, TW7 6AF Hours of work: 40 Contract Type: Permanent ISS is looking for a Retail Catering Manager to lead the catering operation within a hospital setting. This role is focused on driving the performance and service levels of the retail catering operation, with a strong emphasis on maintaining high standards, compliance, and continuous improvement. Job Description You'll be responsible for delivering quality catering services and managing the team efficiently. This is an exciting time for the business, and we're seeking a hands-on leader who is ready to drive change and growth. You'll work closely with the Retail Restaurant Chef Supervisor, Catering Manager, and Chefs to develop menus and merchandising strategies to maximise sales, following the Company's 'Cutting Edge' marketing manual. We need someone with a strong eye for detail and the leadership skills to guide the team through this time of transformation. Key Responsibilities Manage staffing and competence levels across the food service Complete accurate records for systems, including costings, sickness, quality, training, and staff performance Liaise with management through reviews, meetings, and investigations Supervise, train, motivate, discipline, and ensure staff welfare Organise staff to meet work schedules and quality standards Plan, coordinate, and order food based on data and menu cycles Order and control food, uniforms, equipment, and materials Deliver job-related training to meet staff needs and ensure competence Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Experience of running a B&I contract Excellent people management Happy to undertake a challenge and go on a journey with this account The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
