What you’ll do in this HR manager jobs role / HR BP jobs role:
* Be the first point of contact for HR queries, providing pragmatic, solution-focused guidance.
* Lead Employee Relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management.
* Conduct and oversee investigations, producing clear and actionable reports.
* Coach and support managers on ER processes, performance management, and absence.
* Deliver engaging HR training sessions and develop practical guides and toolkits.
* Support recruitment processes, from agency briefings to interviews and selection.
* Contribute to wellbeing, engagement, and wider HR initiatives across the organisation.
What we’re looking for in this HR Manager jobs role:
* HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner within 15 miles of Luton - you need to be on site in Luton a really good chunk of time.
* Proven HR experience, ideally with a strong background in Employee Relations.
* Ideally some experience of 'tangible operations' i..e manufacturing, logistics, engineering, construction etc (something where there are pragmatic and tangible products)
* Confident in handling sensitive and complex HR issues with professionalism and discretion.
* Strong knowledge of employment legislation and best practice.
* Excellent communication and coaching skills.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the HR team.
