Cook – Nursery (Chelmsford)
Part-Time | Thursdays & Fridays | Immediate Start
We are looking for a friendly, reliable Cook to join our nursery team in Chelmsford. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing healthy, nutritious meals for children in a fast-paced but rewarding environment.
Hours & Availability:
Regular shifts: Every Thursday and Friday
Additional hours available to cover holiday or absence within the job share
Immediate start available
What you’ll be doing:
Preparing and cooking balanced meals for children in line with dietary needs
Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times
Following food hygiene and safety standards (training provided if needed)
Checking food stocks, ensuring all items are within date and properly stored
Managing your time effectively to deliver meals promptly in a busy environment
What we’re looking for:
Someone with a love of cooking and preparing healthy meals
Good time management skills and the ability to work at pace
A reliable and proactive individual with attention to detail
Previous experience in a kitchen setting is desirable, but not essential
Willingness to complete food hygiene training
