Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and organisational development.
The key objective of the HR Manager is to ensure the organisation has a capable, supported and legally complaint workforce so we can meet the goals of the business effectively and sustainably.
Main Responsibilities
· Oversee hiring processes, workforce planning, onboarding and retention strategies.
· Manage employee concerns, resolve workplace issues, support managers and promote positive
working relationships.
· Uphold performance management process, provide support for managers and enforce performance
improvement plans.
· Identify training needs and coordinate development programmes for staff.
· Manage sickness, occupational health referrals, wellbeing initiatives and reasonable adjustments.
· Manage process for any conduct issues and maintain communication as required.
· Contribute to organisational development.
Legal Compliance & Visa Management
· Update and enforce HR policies, including contracts.
· Ensure compliance with employment law, data protection and organisational procedure.
· Maintain accurate HR records and provide Board reports.
· Maintain and support international workers, ensuring compliance with Sponsorship duties and Right
to Work requirements.
· Ensure compliance with Agricultural Wages Order (Scotland), Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) Base
Code and all relevant audit requirements.
Payroll
· Support payroll accuracy and pay review processes.
· Maintain holiday records and holiday payment calculations.
