D&b is looking for a talented, positive, energetic full stack developer to join our dynamic team. This role is part of a small team and therefore offers significant scope to shape and define technical development practices that will scale and allow the team to grow in future. To that end, the role may be suitable for a developer with a few years’ experience, who would be supported with professional training in order for them to develop to make their role a success. Equally, the role would suit a more experienced developer, who has the skills and knowledge to establish a suitable development practice at d&b that meets the needs of our business, customers and team. The Dev Team supports, maintains and creates a suite of custom applications that are used across the business. Ranging from simple back end systems used to form data warehouses, through to independent full stack web apps. Key Duties and Responsibilities: * Writing, maintaining and debugging a typical web stack (HTML/CSS/JS/PHP/MySQL) on our suite of platforms * Maintain and develop integrations between our software platforms (webhooks/APIs/etc) * Design and deliver integrations between new and existing commercial software platforms (eg. Microsoft 365/Salesforce/Business Central/etc) * UI design for both new and additional features, with a key eye for efficiency and elegant & intuitive UX * Peer code reviews & accountability * • Platform Ownership & Technical Accountability – You’ll be expected to take end-to-end ownership of the platforms you develop and support, including during project deployments, critical incidents, or scheduled maintenance. * General IT & Computing skills – whilst we have an IT support team, because of the interconnected nature of our platforms, you will need to support our team in their use of the platforms, and respond to issues arising, once triaged. Technical Skills - Required * Proficient in the following languages: * HTML/CSS * JavaScript * PHP * MySQL * Proficient with Webpack deployment and workflow * Proven IT skills, including use of Microsoft 365 admin tools * Working knowledge of feature/bug logging & ticketing systems.
