Quality Manager – Construction Location: Office-based with regular site visits (UK-wide) Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive, negotiable based on experience A growing construction company is looking to appoint a Quality Manager to take the lead on project-level quality control, inspections, and reporting. This role is ideal for someone experienced, organised, and confident managing quality assurance across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities: Implement and maintain project-specific inspections and quality audits Carry out pre-start, in-progress, and completion inspections across all trades Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with designs, specifications, and regulations Identify, track, and close out non-conformances and corrective actions Produce clear photographic inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records Maintain a Quality Register and report on trends and recurring issues Support weekly/monthly internal quality reporting Assist with external audits, building control inspections, client QA processes, and ISO 9001 audits Promote lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement across project teamsRequirements: HNC/HND or Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or similar Minimum 5 years’ experience in a quality role with a UK main contractor Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and auditing processes CSCS Black card Confident preparing reports and using ...
