General Labourer : Tooting (South West London)
Location: Tooting, London (SW17) Pay Rate: GBP13.68 : GBP15.80 per hour (Dependent on experience/payment method) Contract Type: Temporary / Ongoing Start Date: Immediate
The Role
Randstad CPE is currently recruiting for hard:working and reliable General Labourers for a busy construction project based in Tooting, South West London.
We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to maintaining high safety standards on:site. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast:paced site team and secure steady work with a leading construction agency.
Key Responsibilities:

Material Handling: Safe loading, unloading, and movement of building materials across the site to assist tradespeople.
*
Site Maintenance: Ensuring the site remains clean and hazard:free. This includes clearing rubbish, sweeping up, and organizing tools/equipment.
*
Waste Management: Assisting with filling skips and proper disposal of construction waste.
*
General Assistance: Supporting the Site Manager and trades (carpenters, bricklayers, etc.) with ad:hoc duties as required to keep the project running on schedule.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role, you must be physically fit and capable of heavy manual lifting. We are looking for candidates who are punctual, professional, and ready to get stuck in.
Requirements:

Valid CSCS Card (Green card minimum) : Essential.

Full PPE (Hard hat, High:visibility vest/jacket, and steel:toe safety boots) : Essential.
*
Previous experience working on a construction site is highly preferred.
*
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
*
Reliability and punctuality are key for this role.
