Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our groundworks team in Swansea. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, adaptable, and possess a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the setup and cleanup of work areas, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
* Perform manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials or equipment.
* Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required.
* Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
* Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas, including proper disposal of waste materials.
* Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.
* Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
* Assist in the loading and unloading of goods or materials as needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
You will need:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery operation.
* Ability to adapt to different work environments and industries.
* Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
